18 – 25 MAR 2018
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE: 1 KINGS 3:10-14 – SOLOMONIC GENERATION
Greetings in the wonderful name of our lord Jesus Christ. Last Sunday, many people received money miracles. God of our father, Pastor Alph Lukau, confirmed the word of his servant. To God be the glory. Family, you are all encouraged to register for the upcoming International Visitors Program (IVP) to be held from the 4th to 6th May 2018. Please remember that John the Baptist’s existence destroyed the devil, hence Herodias decided to kill him. Many of you do not know that when you do what God called you to do you disturb the devil. Herodias is demanding your head because your work is contradicting with what Herodias wants to do. Many people are dying because there is a platter waiting for their head. If you break it, you will destroy the plans of the enemy. Please make sure that you are part of this IVP and call the office for more information, or go to the IVP table in foyer.
The Man of God said that we are set up for glory and miracles. In this series of Solomonic Generation, God will build all of us financially. We will all arise with the potential that God has given us to access the resources God has given us. According to the world, when the church speaks about money it means greed, other things are accepted but money is not. The concept of money has been away from the church. The church has been educated to live their lives just waiting to get to heaven. Money has been seen as the work of the devil and if you desire prosperity, you are regarded evil. This is how we have been conditioned to think.
Family, money must be part and parcel of your life. Without it, you will not be able to fulfil your God given assignment. Without it your life may amount to nothing. We are all influenced by money. 85% of those who are in jail are there because of money problems. The reason why we are able to come to church today is because money was involved; even the micro phone we use at church has been bought with money.
Everywhere you go, money is important. Today we feel edified if we hear someone telling us that he has been through hell; when he tells us that he did not know how to pay his rent. We think it edifies people because we feel that he is being humble, and modest. When the man of God drives a good car they say he is fleshy. Family, the bible says in heaven, we will walk on roads paved with gold and God has prepared mansions for us. Therefore poverty is not an option. Gold and silver belongs to our God. If money is so vital to our day to day life, we need to know more about it. He says he will give it to you. The God who owns the cattle on the 1000 hills is our God. Those who walked with him yesterday were not broke. We did not talk about the story of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Daniel, Shadrack, Meshack , Abednego, Joseph, etc. All these people were wealthy in their time.
These days we only pray for shelter and water, and this is selfishness; what about the neighbour, and the orphans, etc? Your responsibility goes beyond what you eat, wear, etc. We cannot preach the gospel if we keep on thinking about bread and butter for ourselves. Money is not evil, but the love of money is the root of evil. Money is a good servant, but it’s a bad master. Don’t allow it to rule you, but rather rule it. God can only give it to you once he realizes that you are ready for it. Despite all the economic meltdown we had, money kept on increasing on earth. But very few of us had access to it because most of us do not have money skills. Unless you have the skills for it you will get it today and lose it all tomorrow.
You have to have your mind in the right direction; money is not evil nor pride. Everything God wants to do will begin by you putting your mind right. If we keep on thinking that money is diabolical, how are we going to help vulnerable children? Let us re-align our system; money is not the root of evil, but the love of money is the root of all evil. The best way to help the poor is by having a lot of money. You cannot help anyone who is drowning unless you know how to swim. All of us have to do what we have to do. The burden is not on one man, but on all of us. If all of us can tap into prosperity, no one will cry. Poverty is not the will of God. The will of God is for all of us to arise in prosperity. It is part and parcel of the message of the Kingdom of God. This message will set us free. The true wealth is what we have inside; your aggressive hopes. Jesus became poor so that we can be rich. You can prosper, God has resources for you, and they have your name on them. All God requires of you is to believe it in your heart. The how belongs to him.
