JOHN 11:43-45 – When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out! The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.” Therefore many of the Jews who had come to visit Mary, and had seen what Jesus did believed in him.
Family, I greet you in the wonderful Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The bible says “miracles are the children’s bread.” At AMI, we see miracles in all our services, so we thank God of our father, Pst Alph Lukau. Last Sunday, many miracles took place, one sister said she had a big stomach as if she was pregnant, and she has been in that condition for a long time. On Sunday, as the Man of God was preaching, she noticed that her stomach had become flat; we thank God and give him all the glory for this miracle. God is good indeed!!!
Our Man of God (Pastor Alph) said Lazarus and his sisters had a relationship with Jesus. You may have a relationship with a man but not having a relationship with Jesus. Do you have a relationship with Jesus? Do you know Jesus? Those who know him are in him and him in them. He does not want to be close, but he wants you to be inside you. Did you take a decision to have Jesus in you? Some people know the things of God but do not know him. Relationship with Jesus Christ is a personal decision / choice, after doing this, Jesus will give you his peace, i.e. the shalom or wellbeing of God.
One day something bad happened in the family of Lazarus, he became sick. The two sisters sent a message to Jesus and said, “the one you love is sick.” This means that Mary and Martha depended on the love that Jesus had for Lazarus. If you know how great the love God has you, you will not be scared of the enemy. The bible says a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” Let those who are gossiping / mocking you know that you are loved by God. It could be true that they do not love or consider you, but lift up your head child of God, because you are loved and sustained by God.
Lazarus was at a point of death. Have you ever felt that God is not there, and you feel that if God does not intervene now it is over? When Jesus was told that Lazarus was sick, he did not move. Family, the ways of God are not our ways, however we must rest assured knowing that he is faithful. For those who have been diagnosed with a disease, and Doctors say it is incurable, beloved, there is nothing God cannot do, nothing is greater than him. He is able to pick you up from the dustbin, dust you off and sit you with the Kings. Something big is about to manifest in your life.
Lazarus’ situation became worse and finally he died, and people gathered in his home. Jesus said, “our friend Lazarus is sleeping.” This means that what shakes you, does not shake God. Our God is great and mighty, he is El Shaddai, the God of all sufficiency, everything you need is in him. The language of God is not often understood by men. The bible says the carnal mind does not understand the things of the spirit because they are spiritually discerned. The disciples said, if he is sleeping, he will wake up. We have people in the church who do not catch things of the spirit. The very disciples of Jesus could not understand his language. Family, it is in the spirit where revelation lies, not in the letter. Lazarus’ situation was bad / impossible. Maybe somebody’s job has been terminated; God says it is not over until he says it is over. From today, Jesus will take away your trials and troubles.
Jesus said, I am glad I was not there. It is all about God’s glory. Most of the people refuse to give God glory for what he has done for them. Lazarus. case was a set up, it was so that the glory may go to God. What God is about to do in your life, will be evident that it is not the hand of man that did what has happened; people will says “this is God.” God is about to bless you exceedingly, abundantly, above all you could hope or ask for. It’s good that he has left you, it’s time for the glory of God to manifest in your life.
Jesus said, “Lazarus, come out!” Beloved, whatever died in your life comes back to life from today in Jesus Name. Lazarus was in a tomb but Jesus brought him back. To everything dead in your life, I say, “COME FORTH” in the Name of Jesus.
