SCRIPTURE REFERENCE: Matthew 16:18
Good day AMI family. We just had an awesome and a glorious weekend. The ministration of prophetic salt has taken us all to the next level; our lives will never ever be the same. We witnessed many rising up from the wheel chairs the moment the grains of salt touched them. The Lord used His anointed servant, our father pastor Alph mightily.
In the scripture above, Jesus begins by telling Peter’s identity. Before saying this Jesus had asked His disciples, saying, “Who do people say I am?” They answered Him saying, some say you are John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. Then he asked them, saying, “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered Him, saying, you are the Christ, the son of the living God. So Jesus said to Peter, you are Peter, which means piece of rock.
Furthermore, Jesus said, “Upon this rock I will build my church.” The rock that Jesus was referring to here was the revelation that Peter had on who Jesus is, by the Spirit of God. Peter received the revelation of who Jesus is because he was connected in the Spirit. The revelation that Peter had was bigger than his identity. Peter might have been an imperfect man with weaknesses but the revelation he had of Jesus was great. Your life can not supersede the level of your revelation.
Jesus concluded by saying, “Upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail.” The church of Christ is not just a building; it is a living sanctuary. The church of God is “Ecclesia.” It is built on and through a material called revelation. God is a builder; He is building your life and your future.
The reason why Jesus was persecuted yesterday was that those who gathered yesterday were not the ecclesia of God. They were founded on dogmas and routines of men. He was persecuted because of the traditions of men. They rejected Him because they had no revelation of who He was and what He stood for.
Jesus said, “Upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall NOT prevail against it.” There is no maybe; the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church, because Jesus himself is the builder of it. The forces and armies of the enemy will not prevail. The plans of satan and his acolytes will not prevail. They can come against you in one way, but in seven different ways they shall be scattered. A thousand may fall on your side, ten thousand on your right side, but it shall not come near you. You win and they (your enemies) lose, in the name of Jesus.
