03 SEPTEMBER 2018 – 09 SEPTEMBER 2018
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE: 2 Kings 13:14-19

Greetings family; It is a great joy to testify of the goodness of the Lord that is always manifested in AMI services.  Surely the Lord is faithful to us and so good to us.  We thank Him for the anointing upon our spiritual father pastor Alph Lukau.

If you have an expectation in your finances, in your health or in your family, you must know that God will answer you.  There is a God who answers prayer.  Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces will never be covered with shame.  He said, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven….. “- 2 Chronicles 7:14.  He said, call on me and I will answer you….  The more you have in your hand is the more you must pray.

In the context of the scripture above, Israel was going through a great calamity; they were oppressed by the Syrians.  The question is why they suffered like that, while they had a prophet?  The presence of a prophet is a sign of remembrance.  Every time God had remembered His people, He raised a man.  You cannot have a prophet and fall.  Whatever the Lord has invested in a prophet, is for His people.   We must have the heart to receive it.

The verse above begins by letting us know that the prophet Elisha was suffering from terminal illness.  It is important, beloved, that though you are anointed for others, the same anointing upon you may profit you as it profits others.  As you stand in the gap for others, you must know that what you are seeking for others will manifest also in your life.  If you do not embrace this truth, you will see others getting healed while you are dying sick.

During that time when Elisha was sick, Joash King of Israel came to him and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof.  Elisha said to him, take a bow and arrows.  As the king put his hands on the bow prophet Elisha put his hands upon his hands.  This was a sign of the spiritual connection between the king and the prophet.  The man of God asked the king to open the window.  This is indicative of expansion and of no limit.  The next instruction he gave him was “shoot”.  As king Joash shot the arrow, Elisha proclaimed and said, “The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them.”  He was prophetically declaring the deliverance of Israel from their enemies.

The last instruction prophet Elisha gave to the king was to take the arrows and strike the ground.  The king only struck the ground three times.  The man of God was displeased because he only struck the ground a few times.   He said to him, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.”  The outcome does not depend on what the instruction giver does, but on what you do.  All you need for your next level is the word.  How you obey the instruction given is what determines what will happen and what you will see.  Never take a given prophetic instruction casually.

How far you go in implementing what God is asking you solely depends on you.  If you will seriously do what God is asking you to do you will win.
