HOMECELL TEACHING GUIDE
1 – 7 OCTOBER 2017
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE: MATTHEW 14:1-12
Family, I greet you in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the Night of Revelation 2, Herodias’ platter was broken, and everyone present was greatly blessed. Many have started to testify of what the Lord has done for them after this service. On Sunday, the prophetic was very strong and accurate, as always. People were set free after our Man of God (Pastor Alph) had prayed for them. God fulfilled his Word in our midst. We give him all the glory!!!
Beloved, there are people whose lives disturb the works of the enemy. Such people go an extra mile to make sure that lives are transformed through the Word of God. Through them many are reached through different mediums, which include the television. These people live lives that are meaningful.
Because John the Baptist kept on speaking, his life was a disturbance to people like Herodias. The bible says on Herod’s birthday the daughter of Herodias danced for the guests and pleased Herod so much that he promised with an oath to give her whatever she asked. The mother, (Herodias) told her to request the head of John the Baptist to be presented to her on the platter. John the Baptist was not thrown to jail directly by Herod – behind Herod was Herodias. The person who demanded the head of John the Baptist was the daughter, Salome, but behind her was Herodias. Many people fight what they are facing or seeing; not knowing that what is fighting them is hidden behind what they are facing.
If the king was distressed, it means that the person behind the request had a cold heart. Herodias has no mercy and is cruel. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy and when he comes to take advantage on somebody’s life, he shows no mercy. The enemy does not have love because love is God. Beloved, the more you cry, the more the devil rejoices. He does not let you go because you are crying. When things are bad, you need to look to Jesus Christ. You must learn to trouble your troubles. If you are troubled because of your trouble, the enemy rejoices because his expectations are met.
The devil does not know pity. You can give him the blood of the donkey and cows but he will still come after you. The devil does not wait – he comes to you. The word of God, however, says, “behold, I have given you authority to trample upon the serpents and scorpions, and over the power of the enemy…”
John the Baptist was beheaded and his head presented to Salome on the platter.
1. Many children of God’s heads were already on the platter before the platter was broken on the Night of Revelation.
2. God has destroyed the plans of Herodias in your life. Herodias has fallen!!
All of us are now empowered by God and no one of us will be without the Kaboth of God. Family, the anointing of God in AMI is unique.
Please remember to meet your disciples on Sunday (after the 2nd service). Please do not leave until your disciples have been counted.
Please ensure that you submit your homecell reports.
25th October is our father’s (Pastor Alph) birthday.
Our annual conference, The Real Encounter, will be from the 25th to the 29th October. Let us pray for this conference to be successful.
